Experience

  • Requires extensive prior experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Must be able to competently, safely and productively evaluate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain all categories of heavy equipment.
  • Must test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.
  • Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.

Percy LoneElk

Percy LoneElk has been working at Lind-Exco, Inc. for almost 2 years now. He is currently a Crew Chief. Percy likes football, hunting, and fishing. He is a native of the Black Hills. He and Julie have six children that keep them very busy:  Nichole, Shawn, Gracie, Desirae, Allison, and Cody. Percy is a fun easy-going guy and we all enjoy his company here. SITE DEVELOPMENT / UTILITY CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

  • Experience managing jobsite and employees, working directly with Project Managers, Owners, Builders and utility crews, equipment operators. Must be experienced in operating heavy equipment.

  • Requires prior construction experience. Duties consist of manual labor tasks as directed by Supervisor, including shoveling, manual materials handling, operating gas tampers and walk behind rollers, holding grade rod, manual watering, raking and sweeping.

    Jon Giese has been working for Lind Exco, Inc. for 3 years as an operator. He is married to Toni and has four children. Jon likes to fish and hunt and hang out with his family. Jon’s children are involved in soccer, and baseball. Thanks, Jon, for all your hard work.

    PIPELAYERS

  • Prior construction experience required. Duties consist of handling, fitting, installing pipe and associated appurtenances as directed by supervisor. Fine grading trench bottoms to correct elevation, manual placement and compaction of pipe bedding, constant and vigilant inspection of unprotected trench walls for soft spots or cracks that could result in trench wall collapse, construction of sewer manholes to include finishing of poured in place concrete inverts, set up of sewer lasers, supervision of trench laborers.

    Jason Davis

    Jason Davis has been working for Lind-Exco, Inc. since November of 2004 as a Truck driver. He has been married for 34 years to Linda and has 4 children  and 6 grandchildren that he enjoys spending time with. You can usually find Jason at the coffee shop or in his shed in his spare time. He also enjoys collecting antique John Deere tractors and gardening in the summer. This is Jason and his grand daughter Gracie.Thank you, Jason, for all your hard work.

    EQUIPMENT OPERATORS

  • Requires extensive prior experience in heavy equipment operation. Must be able to competently, safely and productively operate all equipment to include some of the following: track mounted tractors with dozer/ripper attachments to 80 HP, tractor, loader/backhoes, front end loader 4.5 cy bucket under 80 HP, water wagons with power spray attachments. Must be experienced and capable of performing basic equipment maintenance and lubrication.
